Coach of the Year: Cheryl Reeve

Coach Reeve as won the award for five times. This has to make her the greatest coach of all-time so far, right? Even when she has not won the award, she has always been a great leader for her team. She is already in the Hall of Fame and she is not even done yet. That is quite the flex. Sure, Minnesota is now out of the playoffs, but she very well could win it again. I totally agree with this pick. Congrats to you Coach!

Rookie of the Year: Olivia Miles

This one was easy. There are some that say this was mainly possible because she was drafted to a good team. ‘The Spectacle’ still had a heavy load to carry. I am totally biased, but if Azzi Fudd would have played as a starter from the beginning of the season and did not sustain a knee injury, she definitely would have given her a run for her money. Either way, I agree with this pick. Congrats Olivia!

Most Improved Player: Jessica Shephard

Ah yes! This one feels good. I do wonder if she really improved or was she not given a real chance to show what she is made of in Minnesota. I loved watching Jess do her thing for my team this season. Unfortunately, the dominance that she showed throughout the regular season has not transferred into the playoffs. It is all based off of the regular season though. Look, she is on my favorite team, so I most definitely agree with this pick. Congrats Jess!

Defensive Player of the Year: Angel Reese

I will never understand why Angel is hated so much. Based off of her stats alone it is not justified. Angel Reese is a beauty and a beast. She has been a joy to watch from LSU to ATL. Honestly, I do not believe that the Dream would be in the position that they are in without her. She also has a major influence off of the court and certain people cannot stand it. There has never been a WNBA play to walk in the Victoria Secret fashion show. She and Sue Bird are listed as the only ones that are Barbie Dolls. I would also count in Rebecca Lobo, mainly because I have one ha. I do not care what anyone says; Angel earned this award. I can see her winning it again before she is done playing in the W. Congrats Angel!
